BaitSmith, LLC - Partner Program

The intention of the BaitSmith partner program is to move away from the traditional manufacturer-reseller relationships that exist and move towards a win-win vested interested partnership model.

BaitSmith understands what it takes to do business in the highly competitive fishing lure and products industry and has made the commitment to recognize and stand behind its partners. BaitSmith has established two partner programs; BaitSmith Reseller Partner Program, and BaitSmith Partner Program.

BaitSmith Reseller Partner Program
To be a BaitSmith reseller partner your store (online or brick and mortar) must be orderly, uncluttered, and well managed with customer service being a top priority. You must not be a discounter or be perceived as a fishing industry discount goods provider.

There are three tiers to the BaitSmith Reseller Partner Program. The minimum tier begins with a minimum reseller initial order of 25 baits with the store being recognized as an “Authorized Reseller” once more than 50 baits have been wholesale purchased for retail.

BaitSmith will cross promote, provide incentives, and help market its Reseller Partners using a variety of methods based on their Reseller Partner channel level.

Reseller Partner Channel Levels

  Platinum Reseller: 1000 or more baits sold

  Premiere Reseller : 500 or more baits sold

  Authorized Reseller : 50 or more baits sold

  Co-branded Sponsorship placement on tournaments and sponsored events

BaitSmith Partner Program

To be a BaitSmith partner you must be a product manufacturer, professional representative, or service provider to the fishing industries. You, or your business, must be ethical, well managed, and customer service/industry oriented.

Corporate Partners
Corporate Partners are partners that provide goods and services to the fishing industry that are not in direct competition with BaitSmith products. BaitSmith will only partner with one type of goods or service provider in each specific industry or geographic location (if the business is geographically constrained).

Corporate partners will be asked to cross promote BaitSmith products and brand along with some of their sales and marketing efforts and in exchange BaitSmith will provide the same. Examples of promotions and marketing efforts: brand and product included in photos, video, and on advertisements, partner link on website.

Professional Partners
Professional partners are partners that are professionals or renowned individuals in the fishing industry. A BaitSmith Professional Partner will be ethical, professional, and industry focused. Professional Partners will be selected by merit, local, and quality of relationship with BaitSmith LLC.

Professional partners will be asked to promote BaitSmith products and brand while actively participating in the fishing industry events and communities. In exchange BaitSmith will promote its professional partners on its website and at marketing events, as well as give deep discounts to Professional Partners on “Not for Resale” (NFR) BaitSmith products
